What is mindfulness?

Mindfulness is a form of meditation where you truly focus on your immediate self. You take note of all your surroundings and senses to truly feel your emotions in the moment without any judgment on what it is you actually are experiencing - It is purely being.

There are various techniques associated with mindfulness that help to reduce stress and relax and are a benefit to practice for anxiety, insomnia, depression and to even help lower blood pressure.

Breathing techniques:

By slowing down and regulating your breathing, you also lower your heart rate and focus your thoughts more closely. This helps in reducing stress, which in turn can help if you frequent insomnia, PTSD or anxiety.

Mindfulness can be practiced at anytime, anywhere. Practicing it outdoors has shown to have additional benefits, being connected with nature helps to focus the mind.
